White Sage is both antimicrobial and antibacterial.
A practice old as time, developed by indigenous peoples, burning sage — also known as “smudging” — has been traditionally used to help clear negative energy. Burning white sage has also been shown to repel insects and purify the air. One recent study discovered that the use of medicinal smokes such as sage resulted in a 94 percent reduction in airborne bacteria.
